Farzi Trailer: Shahid Kapoor’s punchlines to Vijay Sethupathi’s Hindi debut, Farzi is going to be a bling-thrill
New Delhi: Bringing major stars from both of the mega film industries to the OTT platform, Farzi’s trailer resuscitated the old game of mouse and cat chase with a humorous spin.
Team Farzi unveiled its much-awaited trailer today in Mumbai. From edgy yet relatable dialogues to Vijay Sethupathi’s action magic in Hindi, Raj and DK’s Farzi secured high hopes for the upcoming series of Amazon Prime Video.
Shahid Kapoor also shared the trailer on his Instagram with a witty caption,” everything is counterfeit besides this trailer.”

Right from the beginning, Farzi’s trailer sets to embedding with Shahid Kapoor’s money-obsessed character who justifies an illicit trade of counterfeit money by citing the sufferings of the poor working class. “Hum middle-class Nhi, Middle-finger class log hai,” the trailer hints that the series would be full of slang-worthy punchlines.
To curb Shahid Kapoor’s nefarious ambitions, we have Vijay Sethupathi, who will be playing an enforcement officer willing to go to any lengths to burst this counterfeit racket. Though, his problems are many, including his rocky relationship with Hindi, which will add to the humorous side of the otherwise dramatic storyline.
Aside from the stellar face-off between Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi, the trailer revealed Kay Kay Menon, Kubbra Sait, and Rashii Khanna in the main roles.
Farzi’s seat-gripping trailer has already made it to the trends on Twitter with Netizens jumping in excitement to see Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi on one screen.

Speaking at the trailer release event, Shahid Kapoor said the series would always have a special place in his heart because it is his digital debut.
The Raj and DK series will be playing on Amazon Prime from 10th February.
