New Delhi: The report has it that Rohit Bal, a fashion designer from the National Capital Region, has been hospitalised at Medanta Hospital due to a previous heart ailment. Reportedly in serious condition, the fashion designer is now receiving ICU treatment while being ventilated.
Three days ago, model Suraj Dhalia hurried him to the hospital. In addition to being unconscious, his heart pounded. He received seven shocks from his pacemaker. He was first transported to Moolchand, but as his health worsened, he was quickly transferred to Medanta, according to a close friend who spoke to HT City.

In 2010, the designer overcame a severe heart attack. Additionally, his pancreatitis has been becoming worse over the years. The February 2010 heart attack that Rohit Bal had also necessitated an emergency angioplasty.
Rehab and hospitals have reportedly been his constant companions as he battles the health complications brought on by his alcoholism. Meanwhile, the star designer’s old friend Arjun Rampal visited him in November last year while critically confined at Medanta Hospital.

As the star designer who has dominated the fashion industry for almost 30 years, Rohit Bal has won many awards. Not only did the International Fashion Awards name him “Designer of the Year” in 2001 and 2004, but the Indian Fashion Awards did the same in 2006.
