New Delhi: The trouble for comedienne Bharti Singh is set to increase further as another FIR has been lodged against Singh for making jokes about men’s beards. The FIR was lodged against the actress-comedienne at Adampur police station in Jalandhar by the Ravidaa Tiger Force chief Jassi Tallan.
In the FIR, the complaint alleged that Singh has hurt the sentiments of the Sikh community. A day ago, the actress was charged under Section 295-A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings) of the IPC following the FIR by the Shironmani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee in Punjab’s Amritsar on Monday.
What Bharti Singh said about men’s beard
In the viral video on the internet, Bharti Singh can be heard talking about the beard of men with actress Jasmin and telling her the benefits of beard. She said, ”Having Beard and mustache provides many benefits; one can drink milk and put also some of the beards in the mouth. It will taste like seivyaan (a sweet dessert). She further said, ”Lice also lives in men’s beards.

Comedienne Bharti Singh issues an apology
However, Comedienne Bharti had to issue a public apology following the video went viral and people started sending negative comments.
In the video, Bharti said, she did not mention the name of any of the community, ”any religion or caste”.
In the caption of the video, she wrote, ”Main comedy karti hoon logo ko khush karne ke liye na ki kisi ka dil dukhane ke liye .agar meri kisi baat se koi hurt hua ho tho maaf kar dena aapni behan samjh ke.”
