Fly Me to the Moon OTT Release: The American Romantic Comedy ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ is all set to premiere on Apple Tv on 6th December. The film was earlier premiered on July 8th 2024 in the New York City.
Plot
The story of the Romantic Comedy follows the life of Kelly Jones who is offered a high-profile job to improve the public image of Nasa. Kelly used to work for the Manhattan Advertising Agency and is now excited for her new role.
She takes up the job and moves to Cocoa Beach in Florida with her Assistant. After reaching her destination, Kelly meets the Director at the Kennedy Space Center Cole Davis. However the two have different opinions over how to boost the image of Nasa through Kelly’s ideas.
Meanwhile despite having different opinions, they ensure to respect each other’s opinions. On the other hand, Nasa is preparing for its historic Apollo 11 Mission. To make this project more exciting, Kelly comes up with an idea.
She suggests the they can broadcast the moon landing by using a Television Camera on the Lunar Excursion Module. However, her idea is rejected by the director Cole Davis.
As time passes by, Cole and Kelly begin to like each other and develops feelings for each other. However with their hard-work and efforts, the Apollo 11 is successfully launched.
The two celebrate the successful launch of the Apollo 11 and Kelly discloses her past and her real identity to Cole. Kelly’s real name is Winnie and she is ready to leave her past behind and start afresh with Cole.
The film is directed by Greg Berlanti and written by Rose Gilroy. The drama is based on a story by Keenan Flynn and Bill Kirstein.
