New Delhi: Robert Downey Jr., the beloved actor behind the iconic Tony Stark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has offered a fresh perspective on the future of the genre. 

In an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair, the talented star shed light on his upcoming film “Oppenheimer” while sharing captivating anecdotes from his illustrious career, including the groundbreaking “Iron Man” movie that kickstarted the immensely successful Marvel franchise back in 2008.

Having bid farewell to his iconic role as Tony Stark in the epic “Avengers: Endgame” (2019), which clinched the title of the third highest-grossing film of all time, Downey Jr. acknowledged that the success of superhero movies had created a high bar to surpass. Since the colossal finale of “Avengers: Endgame,” no Marvel film has come close to matching its box office triumph.
