From Kaun Pravin Tambe to Mai: These OTT releases on Netflix, Prime, Hotstar will suffice your April

New Delhi: OTT will be flooding us with new content in the month of April. Some have already started popping in while the rest are on their way. From biopics to societal dramas, the contents will spread over several genres. Let’s take a look at some major OTT releases this month:

1. Kaun Pravin Tambe? – Disney+Hotstar

The biopic narrates the journey of the veteran cricketer Pravin Tambe who made his cricket debut at the age of 41. Directed by Jayprad Desai, the movie stars Shreyas Talpade in the lead role. Recently a viral video showed that Pravin Tambe himself got emotional after watching his biopic with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad.

2. Dasvi – Netflix

The movie features Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam, and Nimrat Kaur in pivotal roles. The comedy-drama is directed by Tushar Jalota, portrays a true story of a politician who aims to clear his class 10 while in prison. The film is set to release on April 7.

3. Abhay 3 – Zee 5

Kunal Kemmu is geared up with another season of Abhay, playing the role of SP Abhay Pratap Singh. This season, Abhay will be looking out for evil out on a killing spree. The third season will feature Vijay Raaz, Asha Negi, Rahul Dev, Tanuj Virwani, Divya Agarwal, and Vidya Malvade among others. The season will stream from April 8.

4. The Bubble – Netflix

The plot of The Bubble is quite interesting as it revolves around where the cast and crew blockbuster action franchise travelled to a closed film set in England attempting to shoot a sequel while quarantined at a posh hotel. The movie stars Iris Apatow, Maria Bakalova, Leslie Mann, Karen Gillan, and others also, featuring Vir Das in a pivotal role.

5. Mai – Netflix

The thriller series produced by Karnesh Sharma narrates the story of a grieving mother who discovers the criminals behind her daughter’s tragic death. Starring Sakshi Tanwar, Vivek Mushran, Raima Sen among others, ‘Mai’ will stream from April 15.
