Have you missed a film in theatres and want to watch it now? Do not worry, here is the list of 5 upcoming films that are making their OTT debut after a run in cinemas:

1. Vikram

Kamal Haasan’s superhit film ‘Vikram’ is coming to OTT after a successful run in the theatres. The film has earned more than Rs 300 crore at the box office. ‘Vikram’ stars three National Award-winning actors, namely Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil.

The film is set to release on July 8 on Disney+Hotstar.

2. Ante Sundaraniki

A Telugu film loved by the audience, Ante Sundaraniki follows a Hindu Brahmin who falls for a Christian girl and trains her to be a Brahmin to convince his parents. The film features Nani and Nazriya Nazim in the lead roles.

The film will release on Netflix on July 8.

3. Hurdang

The plot follows an aspiring IAS who starts a rebellion against the caste-based reservation. Written and directed by Nikhil Bhat, the film is set in the 1990s. Though based on caste politics, the film also has romance as one of its themes. The film stars Sunny Kaushal, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Vijay Varma.

The film will release on July 10 on Netflix.

4. Mothering Sunday

The film follows a maid living in England who secretly plans to meet with the man she loves before he leaves to marry another woman. The film is set in the post-World War-I era. The movie stars Odessa Young and Josh O’Connor in the lead roles.

The 2021 film is set to release on OTT platform Zee5 on July 12.

5. Vaashi

After a month from its release date in cinemas, ‘Vaashi’ is set to release on OTT. The film is a courtroom drama in which two talented self-made lawyers are determined to win a case where they stand on opposing sides.

The Malayalam film stars Keerthy Suresh and Tovino Thomas. The film will release on July 17 on Netflix.
