Fun Friday on OTTs & halls: From Romcoms to thrillers, binge watch on these movies, web series (VIDEO)

New Delhi: Call it a Fun Friday or Blockbuster day, this week is loaded & filled with series of movies & web series ranging from romcoms to thrillers to crime based drama & more. The two big movies releasing in theatres today are – Unchaai, & Rocket Gang.

Rajkumar Rao & Huma Qureshi starrer Monica My Darling is also coming straight to Netflix. Breathe 2 is another big flick releasing on Prime Video and is also creating waves with its unconventional storyline.

Movies/Web Series releasing on Nov 11

1) Monica, O My Darling (Hindi) – Netflix

‘Monica, O My Darling’ is crime comedy thriller and stars big actors like Rajkumar Rao, Huma Qureshi & Radhika Apte. The movie revolves around the love story of a robotics expert and how he turns ‘murderer’ when the relationship goes awry. The film also has Sikandar Kher, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor in lead roles.

2) Uunchai

This is a directorial of widely acclaimed filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya. The movie stars Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Anupam Kher as long-term friends. Other notable actors are Boman Irani & Neena Gupta joined by young Parineeti Chopra who features as mountain trainer in the movie. With this movie, the director is making a return to big screen after a gap of 7 years.

3) Mukhbir – Zee 5

This web series is releasing on the Zee 5 platform and brings to life the untold story of India’s secret agent who led provided crucial intelligence from Pakistan and helped win the 1965 war. Owing to storyline, the series is already creating buzzword. The series has 8 episodes.

4) Rocket Gang

This is a movie hitting theatres today. It is a dance comedy laced with tinge of horror.

5) Tanaav (Hindi) – Sony LIV

The web series is a thriller and is the remake of an Israeli show ‘Fauda’. The movie, set in the backdrop of idyllic backdrop of Kashmir, portrays the story of a Special unit and their daily struggle of emotions – on how they all go through feelings of loss, betrayal & revenge.

The movie has Arbaaz Khan, Sumit Kaul, Rajat Kapoor, Shashank Arora, Zarina Wahab as the starcast.

6) Breathe: Into the Shadows season 2

This is Abhishek Bachchan starrer web series based on a psycho killer story. The movie stars Amit Sadh, Nithya Menen, Sayami Kher in lead roles and has been directed by Mayank Sharma.
