The movie’s success shows no signs of slowing down, as it reportedly earned an estimated Rs 22 crore on its seventh day of release, solidifying its strong performance. With this, Gadar 2 has now amassed an impressive nett earning of Rs 283.35 crore in the domestic market, with a total domestic gross collection of Rs 308.5 crore.
Gadar 2 continues its unstoppable rampage at the Box Office, setting new records and surpassing previous milestones every day. This film marks a significant achievement for Sunny Deol, as it becomes his first-ever movie to cross the Rs 300 crore mark in the domestic Box Office.
With an impressive opening collection of ₹40 crore on August 11, Gadar 2 reached its highest single-day earnings of ₹55.5 crore on Independence Day. Within just one week, the film has amassed a remarkable total of ₹283.35 crore, an impressive feat by any standard.
According to the Producers Guild of India (PGI) and Multiplex Association of India (MAI), the period from August 11 to August 13 witnessed the “busiest single weekend” since the reopening of cinema halls after the Covid pandemic. Gadar 2 contributed significantly to this success, earning ₹134.88 crore during that period, while OMG 2 raised ₹43.11 crore at the domestic Box Office.
Gadar 2 has marked several significant achievements for Sunny Deol in the Box Office realm. It now holds the distinction of being Sunny’s first film in the Rs 100 crore, Rs 200 crore, and Rs 300 crore clubs. Additionally, it stands as Sunny’s highest-grossing opener and the second-biggest Bollywood opener of the year, following Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.
On a global scale, Gadar 2 is expected to surpass Rs 500 crore in gross earnings, further solidifying its unbeatable status in Sunny’s Box Office career.
As the film enters its second weekend, it is poised for another massive collection. The advance bookings for Saturday and Sunday are excellent, with estimations of ₹60-70 crore combined. This would bring the film’s 10-day total to nearly Rs 400 crore in India alone, a remarkable achievement.
