New Delhi: One of the highest-grossing Hindi films, Gadar 2, starring Sunny Deol, is about to make its OTT streaming debut. Starring Anil Sharma, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma, among others, the film will be available to watch on ZEE5 beginning October 6.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises’ streaming service ZEE5 announced the digital launch on its official X page.

On its first day of release, August 11, Gadar 2 earned Rs 40.10 crore at the box office, proving to be a successful start for the film. After Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan, it was the third-greatest opening of 2023.
According to business tracker Sacnilk, the film has earned a total of Rs 524.8 crore nett in India.
There was competition at the box office from OMG 2, but it was clear that the Sunny Deol picture was the winner. Currently, there have been hints that there would be a Gadar 3, but no confirmation has been made yet.
About the Movie
The 2001 release of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha competed with that of Lagaan. Despite Lagaan’s widespread worldwide praise, the film was a huge domestic success in.
Gadar 2 is the follow-up to the successful film Gadar. The film, which takes place in 1947 during the partition of India, starred Sunny Deol as Tara, a truck driver, and Ameesha Patel as Sakina.
Even though Sunny Deol has been acting in films since 1983, Gadar 2 was the most successful film of his career.
