Game of Thrones actor ‘Darren Kent’ dies at the age of 36

His Talent Agency Carey Dodd Associates confirmed the news of his death.

New Delhi: Actor Darren Kent, known for his role in the HBO series Game of Thrones passed on August 11. According to some reports Kent was facing several health issues and took his last breath on August 11. His Talent Agency Carey Dodd Associates confirmed the news of his death. Kent was just 36 and had some chronic health issues, he was even facing a rare skin disorder. A statement was released by Darren Kent’s agency on their social media confirming the news of the demise of the actor on Friday. Sharing the news, they wrote, It is with deep sadness they have to tell that their dear friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday. The agency further added, the actor died in the presence of his family and best friend. For a long time, he was suffering from chronic health issues including osteoporosis, arthritis, and a rare skin disorder.

Kent was born and brought up in Essex and graduated in 2007. His first major acting break was with the role in the 2008 movie Mirror. He later appeared in  Slavers Bay portraying the role of a goatherd and in HBO’s Emmy-winning series Game of Thrones. He was recently featured as reanimated corpse  in the 2003 film Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

His  other major films include Snow White and the Huntsman, Marshal’s law, Bloody Cuts, The Frankenstein Chronicles, Blood drive  and Birds Sorrow are some of them. Kent won the best actor award at Van D’ for playing the role of Danny, a boy with a rare skin disorder which restrict him  from going under the sun in sunny day. In real life also Kent is suffering from a rare skin disorder.
