Girls Will Be Girls OTT Release Date
Girls Will Be Girls will soon land on Amazon Prime Video, which has already cracked a successful OTT deal with its makers. From December 18th, 2024, the celebrated movie will become available for watching on the streamer allowing the fans to enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes. However, one may note here that a subscription to Amazon’s Prime membership will be necessary in order to access this film on the platform.
Plot
Written by Shuchi Talati, Girls Will Be Girls tells the tale of Mira, a teenager who studies in a conservative school located in the Himalayas. One day, the 18-year-old experiences a sudden romantic and sexual urge for the very first time after a charming boy named Sai is admitted to her school.
However, as Shuchi begins to make efforts to take her relationship with Sai to an intimate level, her protective mother acts as a hurdle in her path, sparking a series of issues between the two. How this tussle affects the mother-daughter relationship and how they deal with the same is the remaining story of the movie.
Cast and Production
In its star cast, Girls Will Be Girls sees Preeti Panigrahi, Kesav Binoy Kiron, and Kani Kusruti essaying the leading roles. Richa Chadha, in association with Claire Chassagne, Shuchi Talati & Ali Fazal has bankrolled the movie under the banners of Pushing Buttons Studios, Blink Digital, Cinema Inutile, Crawling Angel Films, and Dolce Vita Films.
