New Delhi: The newest smash success from the Tamil film industry, Good Night, starring Manikandan K. and Meetha Raghunath, has been available on Disney+ Hotstar starting July 3, 2023. On May 12, 2023, the picture was released in theatres and immediately received rave reviews.

Plot

The comedic treatment of snoring is central to the storyline of Good Night, a film set in present-day Chennai. The movie also gives an intimate look into the snorers and their partners’ daily lives, as well as exploring the societal perception of snoring. The film’s director also said that it would probe the hidden depths of human emotion.

In the story, the protagonist, Mohan is from the middle class and has a number of obstacles to overcome in both his personal and professional life. He struggles with his English proficiency and has a problem with snoring. Then he manages to fall in love with Anu, an orphan who has dealt with her own set of challenges. Because their relationship is being put under pressure by both Mohan’s snoring and their individual difficulties, they work through their disagreements and make-up in order to enjoy their lives together. The film addresses topics such as love, tenacity, and the embrace of one’s flaws and shortcomings.
