New Delhi: The trailer for the much-anticipated film ‘Gumraah’ is out now. Directed by Vardhan Ketkar, the crime-thriller stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur as the lead. The murder mystery features Aditya as the prime suspect in the case while Mrunal is one of the investigating officers.
The trailer shows Aditya Roy Kapur as a person who lives life to the fullest and does not get late anywhere. Soon, it turns into a murder mystery where there are not one but two Aditya Roy Kapur and one of them is suspected to have committed the crime. From action to suspense, the film seems to have it all.
The film also stars Ronit Roy as the ACP, Vedika Pinto, Deepak Kalra and Mohitt Anand. Screenplay and the dialogues for ‘Gumraah’, the remake of the Tamil film ‘Thadam’, is penned by Vardhan Ketkar and Sumit Arora. Composers Mithoon, Tanishk Bagchi, Vishal Mishra, and Abhijit Vaghani have contributed to the music in the film.
The film is expected to be a treat for Aditya Roy Kapur’s fans as he stars in a double role. The actor was last seen in ‘The Night Manager’ and garnered appreciation for his performance in the web series.
‘Gumraah’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Anjum Khetani under the banners of T-Series and Cine 1 Studios. The film will release in cinemas on April 7.
Mrunal Thakur, who impresses everyone in ‘Sita Ramam’ last year, also has ‘Suriya 42’ and ‘Pooja Meri Jaan’ in the pipeline, while Aditya Roy Kapur will be seen in the second part of ‘The Night Manager’ and Anurag Basu’s ‘Metro… In Dino’.
