New Delhi: Telugu star Mahesh Babu took to Twitter to announce the title of his upcoming film and share the first glimpse teaser. SSMB28 is officially titled ‘Guntur Kaaram’ and marks the third collaboration between the actor-director duo of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram. Makers chose the occasion of Mahesh Babu’s father and actor, Krishna’s birthday to make the announcement.
The teaser shows Mahesh Babu in his classic action avatar as he beats the goons, burns the cars, and shows his iconic walk. The actor styles a check shirt with a red headband and has a ‘beedi’ in his mouth while he performs a ‘highly inflammable’ action sequence and offers a ‘Guntur’ slang.

The teaser video is accompanied by a rap song and cracking beats by music composer Thaman. The film stars Pooja Hegde opposite Mahesh Babu, who were seen together in the 2019 film ‘Maharishi’. ‘Guntur Kaaram’ also stars Sreeleela and Jagapathi Babu.
Fans could not keep calm as Mahesh Babu took to his Twitter handle to make the announcement. The clips from the teaser and the poster went viral on the internet as Mahesh Babu’s fans expect another massy action-thriller. Netizens lauded the teaser as they believe that vintage Mahesh Babu is back to entertain them. The plot of the film is not known yet.

Mahesh Babu and Trivikram have earlier worked together on mass action films ‘Athadu’ and ‘Khaleja’.
The film is produced by S Radhakrishna aka China Babu under the banner of Haarika and Haasine Creations. ‘Guntur Kaaram’ will hit the cinemas on January 13 next year.
