Hansal Mehta responds after getting trolled for Lip-Kissing wife, says “expressing love publicly…”

New Delhi: New Delhi: Hitting back at his trolls, renowned movie maker Hansal Mehta recently took to social media and lashed out at the people who criticized him for lip-kissing his wife Safeena Husain in a viral picture.

On his X (previously Twitter ) handle, the Scam 1992 fame tagged one of his trolls & wrote, “Your trolling won’t work… it’s a man kissing his wife, expressing love publicly. “Not pushing a woman, displaying misogyny in public,” he added further.

Meanwhile, taking to the comment box, netizens also spoke in favor of Hansal & suggested he should ignore the haters. However, a few slammed him for promoting Western culture openly, claiming that such acts of PDA are not appreciated by the masses in India.

One person wrote, “Behind the pan India films of huge budget, there lies a casteist feudal ecosystem. You have pointed a finger at them, now they’ll go to any extent to defame you.” Another said, “Ha ha nailed it completely.” A third comment read, “Just ignore these mentally ill trolls and do your work.
