New Delhi: Tennis legend Roger Federer announced retirement from professional Tennis after Laver Cup. While sports personalities and celebrities were congratulating him for his illustrious career, filmmaker Hansal Mehta took a hilarious dig and shared Arbaaz Khan’s picture instead of Federer. There have been memes and social media conversations about Arbaaz and Federer looking similar.

In 2019, even Arbaaz acknowledged the similarities being drawn between the two and said he would love to meet the Tennis star as he is a big fan of his play.

The 41-year-old Tennis star shared an audio note and a heartfelt letter on Twitter to make the announcement. He stated that it was a ‘bittersweet decision’ for him. In his career spanning about 24 years, he has played more than 1500 competitive games and has won 103 ATP Singles titles including 20 Grand Slams. His last Grand Slam came in 2018 in the Australian Open where he won against Marin Cilic in the finals, while he won his last Wimbledon in 2017 against the same opponent.

The Laver Cup, which is his last competitive tournament, will be a three-day tournament starting on September 23.
