New Delhi: After generating significant excitement amongst the fans with its compelling trailer, Teja Sajja’s superhero actioner Hanuman arrived on the big screens back on January 12th, 2024.
Living up to the fans’ expectations, the movie received an overwhelming response from the cine-goers & became a massive hit at the Box Office within no time. Even by the time of writing this article, the Teja starrer has already raked in a whopping total of Rs 300 crore from the ticket windows & is still maintaining a strong position at the BO.
Nevertheless, the film’s theatrical journey is now nearing its conclusion & fans are now looking forward to its release on the OTT platform.

Digital Platform Zee5 has bagged in Hanuman movie’s digital rights & the film is all set to stream there in multiple languages ((Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi) following its OTT release. While the official confirmation about its release date is awaited, reports have it that the dystopian actioner will arrive on Zee5 on or around 8 March 2024.
This means that Teja’s fans will soon be able to enjoy their favorite hero’s blockbuster movie on digital screens from the comfort of their homes. However, a subscription to Zee5 will be needed to access Hanuman on the OTT platform.
Hanuman Story
Directed by Prasanth Verma, Hanuman is a compelling tale of good vs evil that takes place in a backward fictional village called Anjanadri. It circles to the story of a thief Hanumanthu who stumbles upon a mystical stone that gives him various superpowers of Lord Hanuman.
However, things take an ugly turn when Michel, a stubborn power-hungry guy obsessed with superhero films, learns about Hanumanthu’s superhuman abilities & becomes determined to attain the same for himself by hook or crook. How Michel’s desperation for superpower then leads to a showdown between him and Hanumanthu & who amongst the two prevails on the other makes the crux of the movie.
In its cast, Hanuman features a number of seasoned actors including Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samuthirakani, Vinay Rai, and Vennela Kishore in pivotal roles. It has been produced by and was released in the cinemas under the banner of Primeshow Entertainment.
