New Delhi: Dimple Kapadia, an iconic actress of the 1970s turned a year older today. With a spanning career of more than four decades, Dimple has established herself as a versatile actress in the Indian Film industry. She entered the world of cinema at the very young age of 16 with the movie Bobby in 1973. Following her marriage with well-known actor Rajesh Khanna, she took a break from her acting career for some time but returned back with the film Saagar in 1985.

The veteran actress has the depth and intensity to bring life into the characters she played on-screen and has become a source of inspiration for many budding actresses.
