New Delhi: Indian actress Hansika Motwami is celebrating her birthday today. Hansika has mostly worked in Telugu and Tamil films. She has worked as a child artist in Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan’s Krissh.
The Indian actress hails from Mumbai and was born in a Sindhi family. Her father is a businessmen and mother is a Dermatologist. She received her education in Mumbai only.
Hansika began her career in a television serial called ‘Shaka Laka Boom’ and after this she also worked in the show ‘Desh Me Nikla Hoga Chand’.
She made her film debut in 2007 when she was 15 years old with the Telugu film ‘Desamuduru’ and also earned a Film Fare Aawrd for the best female debut.

The Telugu actress also appeared in a Bollywood film opposite Himesh Reshammiya in the film ‘Apka Ka Suroor’. But Hansika was seen more in South Cinema as compared to Bollywood.

Hansika also worked in a Kannada with Puneeth Rajkumar and this was her only Kannada film. She appeared in 2 South films in the year 2012 one Tamil and one Telugu.

The ‘Krishh’ actress also admitted during an interview that she converted to Buddhism as she feels this is the only way to de-stress yourself. Hansika got married to her long time boyfriend Sohail Khaturia on 22nd December 2022.
