Happy Place OTT Release: The upcoming American Comedy Web series will be arriving in the OTT Platforms on 19th October on Jio Cinema. The series is scheduled to premiere on NBC onn 18th October.
The Series was filmed at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.
Plot
The story of the show moves around the life of a woman named Bobbie, who inherits her father’s Restaurant and discovers that she also has a half sister who is also her business partner.
Both the sisters however don’t get along in the beginning as Bobbie still struggles to accept the fact that she has a half sister and a business partner who she wasn’t aware of for so many years.
Together the two sisters navigate the family chaos, drama and embarrasing situations which arrive unexpectedly. For Bobbie this Restaurant is everything as her husband has died and she is on her own.
Bobbie is clueless about her half sister and so is her. Both of them didn’t know anything about each other except for the fact that they have a father in common.The trailer of the show begins with a Lawyer
The Lawyer is introducing Bobbie to her half sister and they look at each other with surprise. However Bobbie refuses to believe that her father has left a sister for her and feels devastated.
Meanwhile as time passes by, Bobbie treats her half sister in a rude way and her workers in the Restaurant notices her behaviour towards her half sister and ask her why is she treating her like this?
Both the sisters faces issue while running the Restaurant, Bobbie usually says no to whatever her half sister does and contradicts her decisions most of the times.
