Her OTT Release: Here’s where to watch Lijin Jose’s upcoming women-centric film online 

Her OTT Release: Acclaimed director Lijin Jose is all set to treat fans with another promising film that will soon land on digital screens. The long-awaited woman-centric drama titled ‘Her’, stars Parvathy Thiruvothu and Ramya Nambeeshan amongst others in key roles and is slated to air on Manorama Max, allowing viewers to enjoy it from the comfort of their homes.

When and where to watch Her online on OTT?

Shot right after the upliftment of COVID-19 lockdowns in 2022, Her, skipping a theatrical premiere, will make its debut directly on Manorama Max, an emerging OTT platform that recently received acclaim for its promising Malayalam anthology series titled Soul Stories.

While the exact date of the film’s premiere is yet to be out, reports suggest that it will land on Manorama Max on or around the first week of December 2024. 

Plot of the Film

Though the makers have not revealed many details about Her’s story yet, the film is expected to focus on 5 ladies, each fighting her own battle in pursuit of achieving a better life.

Notably, unlike Lijin’s previously released popular film Friday, the stories of Her’s lead characters will remain independent of one another despite having a connection at the same time. It will be interesting to see how this movie fares with the audiences upon landing on the digital screens in the coming days.

Cast and Production 

In its star cast, Her sees a set of talented artists including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Aishwarya Rajesh, Lijo Mol Jose, Urvashi, Ramya Nambeeshan, Maala Parvathi, Guru Somasundaram, Prathap Pothen, and Rajesh Madhavan amongst others essaying key roles. Anish M Thomas has bankrolled the movie under the banner of AT Studios.
