New Delhi: Hightown, which is now ready to air its third and final season has recently swept social media and has successfully built a dedicated following thanks to its unique style of series. Many have been waiting patiently for the season to begin.
The series takes place in Provincetown, Massachusetts, a popular summer destination with a smaller-than-average population of permanent inhabitants.
In the United States, drug misuse, criminal activity, and violent incidents have been on the rise since the late 1990s, when the opioid crisis began. Partially setting the backdrop for the Hightown series is the fact that the CDC has warned that the risks of drug overdoses are continuing to rise, especially in rural regions.
Plot
Jackie Quiñones’s recovery path is overshadowed by a murder investigation that draws her into its fold, taking place in the gorgeous but desolate landscape of Cape Cod.
Season 3 of Hightown dives more into this enigma, following Jackie Quiñones’s path. During the last season of Hightown, Jackie Quiñones, an agent for the Fishery Service, leaves the wagon and joins the force. Despite this, she plunges headfirst into the seedy underworld of idyllic Cape Cod to rescue a lady who has gone missing and a sex worker who has been killed.
Ray Abruzzo and Alan Saintille, two of her former coworkers, are now dedicated to busting drug lords; yet, the supply remains unchecked. Because of this, Boston mobster Shane Frawley comes to the Cape to get in on the heroin trade—and to turn Osito against him. In this stunning but corrupt land where everything is not what it appears, allegiances are formed and long-held commitments are called into doubt.
When and Where to Watch?
After its premiere in January 2024 in the West, Hightown Season 3 quickly became an uproar among the show’s audience. On the other hand, Hightown is presently being released in India. On April 12, 2024, Hightown Season 3 will be available on Lionsgate Play.
The third and final season of Hightown consists of seven episodes.
