New Delhi: Bigg Boss 13’s popular couple Himanshi Khurana and Asim Riaz shocked their fans by breaking their long relationship and officially announcing their breakup on social media yesterday.

Informing everyone about parting ways with her long-time boyfriend Asim, Himanshi took to her Twitter (NowX) and wrote “We are not together anymore, All the time we have spent together has been great but our togetherness comes to an end Now. The journey of our relationship was great and we are moving forward in our lives.”

“With due respect to our respective religions, we are sacrificing our love for our different religious beliefs. We have nothing against each other. We request you to respect our privacy” she added in her post.

Still Love each other

Notably, minutes before announcing her breakup from Asim, the actress also shared another cryptic post on her Instagram in which she called their “breakup” a mature decision while claiming that although she still loves Asim, luck is not on their side.

In the now deleted post, the Punjabi Singer wrote, “We tried, but we could not find a solution for our life. We still love each other, but luck is not supporting for happily ever after. No hate, only love. That’s called a mature decision.

A day after calling it quits with Asim, Himashi shared a cryptic screenshot of her chat with him to clarify that the breakup was their mutual decision and it was indeed because of them coming from two different religious backgrounds.

In the screenshot, Asim and Himanshi can be seen discussing their breakup with the former persuading the actress to write the real reason behind the couple’s decision to part ways.

Interestingly, soon after revealing her chats with Asim, the actress also deactivated her Twitter (Now X) profile, leaving her fans both worried & confused.

For the unversed, Asim and Himanshi’s love story started on the sets of the popular reality show Bigg Boss 13. While Asim Riaz was inside the BB house from Day 1, Himanshi, a renowned Punjabi actress, entered the show as a wild card contestant. Soon, the two developed feelings for each other and eventually came into a relationship.

Even after getting out of the Bigg Boss house, the duo continued to make headlines for their affair for a long time and also featured together in several music tracks including Neha Kakkar’s Kalla Sohna Nai and Preetinger’s Khyaal Rakhya Kar.
