New Delhi: The Hindi-dubbed version of Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ is set to release for streaming on YouTube. Goldmines Telefilms will release the film on its YouTube channel on February 2, before the official Hindi remake Shehzada’s release. The production house shared a short teaser on its Twitter account and made the announcement.

The Telugu film was released in theatres on 12 January 2020 and while the Hindi-dubbed version was set to release in the cinemas too, it was halted by Shehzada’s producers amid a Hindi remake. The Hindi-dubbed version was supposed to release last year on January 26. As reported by Bollywood Hungama, producer Allu Aravind met Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms to ask him to withdraw the release.
‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ is directed by Trivikram Srinivas, and also stars Tabu, Jayaram, Nivetha Pethuraj and Sushanth. The story follows Bantu, a son seeking validation from his father and Raj, whose rich father wishes him to be assertive. The film is available for streaming on Netflix.
The Hindi dialogues for the dubbed version are penned by Shanoor Mirza.
Directed by Rohit Dhawan ‘Shehzada’ stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in lead, along with Manisha Koirala and Paresh Rawal in major roles. The film was supposed to release on February 10 but was shifted to February 17, looking at Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Pathaan’ shattering records at the box office.
Hindi-dubbed ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ and ‘Shehzada’ releasing the same month is an interesting call and the audience can enjoy both Allu Arjun and Kartik Aaryan in action.
