IB71 New Promo Out: Vidyut Jamawal’s Secret Mission to Save the Nation

New Delhi: Vidyut Jammwal is best suited to patriotic actioners. Well, the good news for the shredded hunk’s fans is that the highly awaited trailer for his film IB17 has been launched.

IB71 is based on true occurrences of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The film will be a cinematic adaptation of the facts presented in chronological order.

The promo revealed that the movie will revolve around a secret mission that has been kept under wraps for over 50 years. The Vidyut Jammwal actioner is set to roll at theatres on May 12.

In the promo, Vidyut Jammwal who plays an intelligence officer, is seen discussing something with his other counterparts. Their meeting is interrupted by a man who claims to be an Indian Army personnel. However, Vidyut manages to outsmart him in no time. The promo is titled “IB Operation 1: Intelligence in Action.”

IB71 will mark Vidyut Jammwal’s production debut. The Sankalp Reddy directorial also features Anupam Kher and Vishal Jethwa in key roles.

Previously, the makers dropped the trailer of 1B71. The trailer indicates that the film will be unraveling the event of the ‘Ganga Hijack.’ The secret mission of the Intelligence Bureau of India became a key factor in the nation’s victory over Pakistan.

Earlier, Director Sankalp Reddy spoke about IB71, revealing that while it focuses on the world of espionage, it also dives deep into the psychology of a spy.

Meanwhile, Actor-Producer Vidyut talked about the latest promo. He said that with the special promo, the IB71 team wanted to showcase how Intelligence Bureau is always alert and is one step ahead of the enemy.
