New Delhi: In a shocking incident, Bollywood actor Sunny Leone on Thursday claimed that she has been a target of identity theft in a series of alleged loan frauds on the Fintech platform Dhani Stocks Limited.
Sunny informed about the same on her Twitter account, she tweeted, “This just happened to me. INSANE. Some idiot used my Pan to take a 2000 RS loan and FCK’d my CIBIL score (SIC)”, referring to her credit score.
She informed, while quoting a report of TOI and has also tagged Indiabulls Securities Limited (Dhani Stocks was earlier Indiabulls Securities), and Indiabulls Home Loans.
She has also alleged that the company had done “nothing” to help solve the matter.
However, Sunny is not the lone victim of such fraud, others too have reported about such incident.
Several other social media users have reported about the same fraud this month and had complained that their identity details were used without consent to avail loans on Dhani.
Users have also shared tweets that indicate alleged frauds date back to at least November last year.

Somehow someone has availed a loan fraudulently on my name. My details are not matching. It has been a month and I am getting blank emails as replies from Dhani. However, after this report Dhani reported through its official Twitter account who tagged the company complaining of identity theft and loan fraud.
