New Delhi: Making enemies in high school or hating your peers is pretty common for any individual, the enemies you form or the people you hate- its a permanent lingering feeling that you don’t give up. But, what if the one person you hate in class- turns out to be the girl you will be getting married to?
That’s the plot of the new oncoming rom-com anime, circling around high school lives and two people who ‘hate’ each other getting into a marriage they aren’t even sure of if they want.
“I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class’ is the upcoming anime series set to air in the starting on 3rd of January, 2025. Collected into six volumes as of now, the series inherits a large fan following and favoritism for its light-hearted plot and the connection it forms with tropes from real lives.

Plot
Saito Houjo and Akane Sakuramori don’t like each other; the word ‘like’ doesn’t even come close to describing their apparent hatred for each other. They are not enemies precisely- but they are rivals, a bigger deal than just being enemies.
Saito’s sure their relationship can never be more than just ‘being rivals’, after all, how is a relationship agreed on mutual hatred supposed to blossom into more?
However, things take a sharp turn when Saito is inevitably set for marriage- sure, the purpose of it is scary, but it comes into every person’s life once. Things wouldn’t be bad for Saito if he remained positive- until he realized the girl he’s marrying is his high school rival, Akane.
