New Delhi: The first season of Invincible premiered in 2021, and viewers were quickly captivated by the vicious superhero anime, excellent one-liners, and blood-soaked action sequences. After a hiatus of almost two years, the series returned in November 2023 with a second season, but with just four episodes. Now, the second half of the season is almost here, and with it, the last four episodes.
Plot
During the first season of Invincible, 18-year-old Mark Grayson gains superpowers and learns that his father, who was once the strongest superhero in the world, isn’t as heroic as he imagined. Season 2 picks off just where Season 1 left off with Nolan’s treachery. Mark overcomes several new dangers while working tirelessly to resolve the issues he has been facing. Watching Mark cope with General Kregg’s ultimatum and other major enemies in Season 2 against this backdrop is fascinating.
Omni-Man has been residing on the planet Thraxa since the conclusion of season 1, and this season revealed that he has another family there. A son and a wife round out the family, making Mark’s half-brother Oliver a full-blood relative.
In an additional scene after the credits roll, King Mauler exposes his true identity as the clone and poisons his duplicate. Since many storylines need resolving in Invincible Season 2 Part 2, the action is likely to heat up from the get-go.
When and Where to Watch?
Amazon Prime Video is where fans can see the second season of Invincible. Season 2 of Invincible comprises eight episodes. Season 2 will be out in two parts, according to showrunner Simon Racioppa, who announced in November. Part Two of the second season will premiere on March 14, 2024, after the 2023 release of the first four episodes.
