New Delhi: Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has again involved herself in a controversy after her recent picture with conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar went viral all over the internet. A few days before, another picture of the duo went viral where the conman was seen standing behind the actress, kissing her cheek while taking a mirror selfie.
However, the now-viral picture shows Jacqueline kissing Sukesh as they both stand in front of the mirror while Sukesh takes a mirror selfie. The actress is seen holding tight onto the conman. Reportedly, the picture dates back to April and June this year when Sukesh was released from the jail on interim bail.
The 27-year-old is a resident of Bengaluru, who currently has 15 FIRs against him. Earlier, he was reported to dupe people in Bengaluru and Chennai amounting to several crores. Currently, he is lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail.
The Directorate of Enforcement “seized” a luxurious sea-facing bungalow in Chennai, Rs 82.5 lakh cash, and over a dozen luxury cars on August 23, 2021, in connection to a money-laundering case against Sukesh. He was also held for carrying out an extortion racket worth Rs 200 crore from inside Tihar jail.
Besides, posing as the relative of a politician, Sukesh duped over 100 people and cheated them to the tune of Rs 75 crore.
Jacqueline involved herself with another controversy in October concerning a money laundering case associated with Sukesh. She was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate as well. Meanwhile, Sukesh’s lawyer reported to the media that the actress was dating conman. Jacqueline’s spokesperson came out with a statement denying her involvement with him or his wife, actress Leena Maria Paul.
In a statement, Jacquline’s spokesperson said, “Jacqueline Fernandez is being called to testify as a witness by the ED. She has duly recorded her statements and in future will also be completely co operating with the agency in the investigations. Jacqueline also categorically denies alleged slanderous statements made about relationship with the involved couple.”
