Jacqueline Fernandez splits into laughter after Delhi Court grants her bail in extortion case

Fernandez was recently questioned by the Economic Offenses Wing for about 8 hours. EOW has also summoned Pinky Irani for questioning

New Delhi: Actress Jacqueline Fernandez was granted a major relief by the court in the money laundering case worth 200 crores involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Fernandez arrived at the Patiala House Court which had summoned her in connection with the Enforcement Directorate case, along with her team of lawyers.

Additional Sessions Judge Shailender Malik sought a response from the ED on the bail plea, till then her regular bail is pending before the court.

It seems like Jacqueline’s happiness knew no bounds as soon as she got interim bail, as she was papped splitting into laughter while being inside her vehicle along with her advocates.

Fernandez was recently questioned by the Economic Offenses Wing EOW for about 8 hours. Apart from Jacqueline, EOW also summoned Pinky Irani for questioning. It was Irani who introduced Jacqueline to Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Sukesh is accused of gifting Jacqueline Fernandez jewelery worth around 7 crores.

Apart from jewellery, Sukesh had also gifted many expensive items to her, ranging from Persian cats to horses worth lakhs of rupees, diamond sets and bags of various expensive brands.

Notably, actress Nora Fatehi was also grilled by the central agency in the same case earlier.
