New Delhi: The worldwide box office performance of Jailer, starring superstar Rajinikanth, is unprecedented, with the film earning over Rs 528 crore in only 14 days. According to industry estimates, the commercial drama’s global gross is nearing Rs 550 crore.
The film has made over Rs 528.75 crore in two weeks, as reported by the Sacnilk industry tracker. Meanwhile, Jailer is very close to breaking into the Rs 300-crore club in India.
Two weeks have passed since Jailer’s theatrical debut on August 10. The film broke multiple records at the box office in its first two weeks of release.

After earning Rs 450.80 crore in its first week, the film added Rs 19.37 crore on day 8, Rs 17.22 crore on day 9, Rs 26.86 crore on day 10, Rs 29.71 crore on day 11, Rs 12.54 crore on day 12, Rs 9.63 crore on day 13, and Rs 8.85 crore on day 14 at the global box office.
On the other hand, Jailer is set to break the Rs 300-crore barrier in India. The film earned Rs 3.75 crore on August 23. According to the industry tracker Sacnilk, the total amount the film has earned in India amounts to Rs 295.75 crore till now.
For the last two weeks, Jailer has been killing it at the box office. On August 24, the film had been playing in theatres for two weeks and had made about Rs 535 crore gross worldwide. The Indian box office report claims the action flick made a gross of Rs 346.75 crore.
