Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, features Rajnikanth and an ensemble cast including Jackie Shroff, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vinayakan, and Yogi Babu.

As usual, Rajinikanth is able to maintain his character’s charisma and swagger from the very beginning. The second half allows him more room to build momentum, and he does it in a characteristic fashion.
