Jesus Revolution OTT Release Date: From March 12, 2024, the historical drama Jesus Revolution will now make its debut on the online streaming platform – Netflix.

New Delhi: The forthcoming film Jesus Revolution is adapted from the autobiography of the same name by Pastor Greg Laurie. Involvement in the Jesus movement during Greg’s formative years is central to the film. Also featured in the film are preacher Chuck Smith, young Laurie, and Christian hippie Lonnie Frisbee, all of whom were active in the California counterculture in the ’60s.

Plot

This is the genuine account of a national spiritual awakening that occurred in the early 1970s and its roots can be traced back to a group of young hippies living in Southern California.

The movie chronicles Greg and Cathe’s journey into the Jesus Movement from their youth. The events of the Jesus Revolution revolve around Greg’s childhood, during which he moved across the United States and was raised by a single mother. He became a devoted Christian when he was seventeen years old. He met Lonnie Frisbee while the Jesus movement was spreading in Southern California. With each passing year, Greg was entrusted with more and more responsibility.

In February 2023, Lionsgate took the movie to theatres throughout America for its theatrical premiere. From March 12, 2024, the historical drama Jesus Revolution will now make its debut on the online streaming platform – Netflix.

Cast and Crew

Joel Courtney, Jonathan Roumie, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Kelsey Grammer, and Anna Grace Barlow are among the star actors who have played the lead roles in Jesus Revolution.

Ellen Vaughn, Greg Laurie, and Jon Gunn worked together to write the screenplay for the movie, which was directed by Jon Erwin and Brent McCorkle. Kevin Downes, Jon Erwin, Andrew Erwin, Daryl Lefever, Josh Walsh, Bekah Hubbell, Katelyn Botsch, and Jerilyn Esquiberl are the crew members who are responsible for producing the film. It was Akis Konstantakopoulos who was responsible for the cinematography.
