Oscars 2023: Jhalak Dikhlaa Ja runner-up Lauren Gottlieb to perform on Naatu Naatu song

New Delhi: Lauren Gottlieb, the American dancer who rose to fame in India with Jhalak Dikhlaa Ja season 6 revealed that she will be performing on Naatu Naatu at the Oscars ceremony.

Lauren took to Instagram to share the exciting news with her fans. The Jhalak Dikhlaa Ja season 6 runner up expressed her gratitude for given the opportunity to represent India on one of the biggest stages in the world.

MM Keeravani’s Naatu Naatu has been talk of the global town even since it bagged the big title of the best original song at Golden Globes. Now that it has been nominated in the same category for the 95th Oscars, team RRR and fans have their fingers crossed.

Besides competing for the best original song title, Naatu Naatu will also be performed by the singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava at the Oscars.

Talking about her preparation to connect Hollywood and Indian Cinema, Lauren stated that she is giving her best with choreographers Napoleon and Tabitha D’um.

Trying to blend the Western and Indian dance forms, Lauren Gottlieb has been aiding her choreographers to add that Bollywood Masala into the performance. She told that she successfully convinced NappyTabs to make the male dancers lipsync the song.

The 95th Oscars ceremony will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel on 12th March at LA’s Dolby Theater.
