New Delhi: After entertaining the fans on big screens, Raghava Lawrence and SJ Suryah’s much-hyped joint venture Jigarthanda DoubleX is all geared up to make its debut on the digital platform.
During its days in the theaters, the film garnered rave responses from the fans who adored the iconic team-up between the two superstars and made it a massive hit at the Box Office.
Now, with the film heading towards the end of its remarkable BO journey, the maker of the film has hyped up its buzz once again by announcing the action-comedy’s OTT release date.

Taking to its official Twitter handle (Noe X), Netflix announced that Jigarthanda DoubleX will stream on their digital platform in 5 different languages from December 8, 2023.
Netflix’s tweet read “Roll-camera-action! Indha Pandyaa Blockbuster paaka ellarum vaanga! Jigarthanda DoubleX is coming to Netflix on 8 December in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi! Coming soon in English.”

Earlier, while speaking about his film, its director Karthik Subbaraj revealed that his team has done the movie’s shoot on various tropical and far-flung sites.
He said, “The film is a creatively satisfying experience for all of us. We had shot ‘ ‘Jigarthanda Double X’ was shot in some of the most exotic locations. “I am sure we are going to present a very exciting experience to the audience. I sincerely thank my actors, technicians, and all others who supported this huge project.”
Helmed by talented director Karthik Subbaraj, Jigarthanda DoubleX is an action comedy that is a sequel to its 2014 predecessor Jigarthanda which featured Siddarth Bobby and Simha in the leading roles.
In its star-studded cast, the film features several talented actors including Raghava Lawrance, SJ Suryah, Nimisha Sajayan, Shine Tom Chacko, Bava Chelladurai, Naveen Chandra, and Ilavarasu in important roles. It is produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam and S Kathiresan who released it under the banner of Five Star Creations and Stone Bench Films on November 10, 2023.
