Jimin fans furious after K-pop star doesn’t get ‘proper’ credit for ‘Vibe’, #BlacklabelCreditJimin trends on Twitter

The title of the song reads ‘Vibe (feat Jimin of BTS)’ and the song goes under Taeyang’s name, excluding Jimin on some platforms.

New Delhi: K-pop singer Jimin’s fans are furious over the release of a new song Vibe, which is sung by Taeyang and Jimin. The BTS Army and Jimin’s fans are alleging that Balcklabel has not given proper credit to the Korean singer on various streaming platforms. The title of the song reads ‘Vibe (feat Jimin of BTS)’ and the song goes under Taeyang’s name, excluding Jimin on some platforms.

The fans slammed Blacklabel for not crediting the singer ‘properly’. While some platforms like Spotify show both Taeyang and Jimin’s names, the track trending on TikTok does not show Jimin’s name.

Fans are calling it a ‘cheap’ move while some are saying that there are two versions of the song, out of which one does not credit Jimin. Not only as a singer, but the K-pop star has contributed as the composer and a co-writer of the song. The fans allege that ‘Jimin has carried the song’ and he deserves the credit for the same.

Meanwhile, #BlacklabelCreditJimin is trending on Twitter.

This is not the first time that fans are furious over the injustice with Jimin. Last year, as BTS released their album Proof, Jimin did not have a solo demo track on CD 3.
