New Delhi: Amidst swirling rumors about the state of their marriage, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have made the official announcement of their divorce. Joe conveyed the message through an Instagram post.
In a joint statement, they expressed, “After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

Joe opted to disable comments on his post, and he refrained from adding any caption. Sophie made a similar move on her Instagram account.
According to People magazine, Joe Jonas, aged 34, filed for divorce from the Game of Thrones star in the Miami-Dade County Court of Florida. In his filing, Jonas cited that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.” The couple had previously arranged a prenuptial agreement.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, aged 27, exchanged their vows in 2019 after dating for nearly three years. They welcomed their first daughter, Willa, into the world in 2020, and in 2022, they had another daughter, whose name has not been disclosed to the public.
As per the divorce documents, Jonas is seeking joint custody of their daughters. The documents state, “It is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility. A parenting plan should be established, which addresses all parenting issues and contains a timesharing schedule providing for frequent and continuing contact with both parties.”

Meanwhile, the other Jonas brother, Nick Jonas, along with his brothers Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas, released their sixth studio album as the Jonas Brothers in May of this year. The band has recently embarked on a world tour, encompassing more than 90 shows across 20 countries.
Priyanka and Nick have been displaying their affection for each other during the Jonas Brothers’ tour across America. The famous couple has been seen kissing, hugging, and even singing romantic songs while on stage, surrounded by their fans.

While rumors of trouble in paradise have surfaced for Joe and Sophie, Nick and PC have proven multiple times that the allegations regarding issues in their marriage were untrue. They frequently share cute pictures from their tour on their individual Instagram accounts.
