New Delhi: After successfully entertaining the moviegoers on the big screens, Rio Raj’s Tamil romantic drama Joe is finally on its way to digital platform and the makers have finally confirmed its OTT release date today.
Despite getting just a few screens owing to cut-throat competition between several new releases in theaters during its Box Office run, Joe received an overwhelming response from the cine-goers who hailed it for its captivating storyline, brilliant acting, and engaging screenplay.
However, the good news for those who failed to watch this iconic romantic flick on the big screen is that they will soon be able to enjoy it from the comfort of their homes.

The makers of the Malavika Manoj starrer have disclosed that Joe will be streaming on OTT on Disney + Hostar on January 15, 2024. This means that the fans who missed the chance to watch the Tamil Rom-drama in theaters will get another chance to enjoy the movie.
However, it is important to mention here that watching Joe on the OTT platform Disney + Hotstar will require you to have a basic subscription to their service.
Joe Story
Helmed by ace director Hariram Ram, Joe’s story takes place in Coimbatore where an engineering student Joe (Rio Raj) falls in love with his colleague Sujithra (Malavika Manoj) and both of them decide to get married after finishing college.
However, several unexpected events take place by the end of their college, putting a dent in their blooming & romantic relationship and leaving them with a broken heart.
Later, when Joe is forced into marrying Shruthi (who doesn’t want to marry him either) by his parents, things take a major interesting turn that changes their lives forever.

The Tamil Drama sees Rio Raj and Malavika Manoj as the leading lead with other talented actors like Bhavya Trikha, Anbu Thasan, and Jayakumar in supporting roles. It was produced by Dr. D.
