Jolly LLB 3: Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar set for clash in new sequel, Saurabh Shukla returns as judge

New Delhi: The makers of hit Hindi comedy drama Jolly LLB left fans confused when they announced to feature the sequel of the film with actor Akshay Kumar in the lead role.

The move was further criticised by Arshad Warsi’s fans, who was replaced by Kumar despite giving an acclaimed performance in the first part of the court drama, delivering a major hit that year.

On the other hand, the possibility of a new sequel to the film has been doing rounds for some time now. Though the recent report regarding the upcoming part of the film is sure to leave both Akshay and Warsi’s fans elated.

As per a report by news daily Pinkvilla, it’s gonna be Akshay Kumar vs Arshad Warsi in the upcoming sequel of Jolly LLB.

Subhash Kapoor directorial will reportedly be produced by Star Studios and is set to go on floors soon.

Pinkvilla quoted a source saying, “Subhash Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi have been toying with the idea of Jolly LLB 3 for a while now and the things have fallen in place. Subhash has cracked a subject that warrants a face-off between the two Jolly’s. It’s hilarious with a very relevant topic for debate in the court of law”.

Meanwhile, apart from Jolly LLB 3, Kumar has movies like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Capsule Gill, couple of Dharma Production films along with Mudassar Aziz’s upcoming comedy drama.

Several films of the actor are also in the line for release including Selfiee, Oh My God 2, and Ram Setu.
