New Delhi: The highly anticipated Japanese film ‘Jujutsu Kaisen 0 ‘ is soon to release a live-action stage play, likely in the following months of the year 2024. The film, in its release in 2021, garnered the attention of fans worldwide. This fantasy and action-packed film was released as a prequel to the popular anime/manga series ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ in the early year of 2021.
The film garnered ultimate success, following the life of the main protagonist Yuta Okkutsu, a young student, plagued by the cursed spirit of his childhood best friend Rika Orimoto who he struggles to take control of.
A high school student, Yuta is often subjected to severe bullying by fellow kids and classmates, but one day, the circumstances escalate as the bullies taking advantage of him are gravely injured by the cursed spirit that plagues him. Foreseeing this event, the higher-ups of the Jutjutsu society, aim to have Yuta killed, for the cursed spirit he possesses poses a great danger, but, a teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu Technical High, by the name of Satoru Gojo, recruits Yuta to join the school in November, 2016, giving the young student a chance at turning his life around.

Yuta explains, to the teacher, that the cursed spirit is Rika, a childhood friend he vowed to marry if given the chance they grow up together, tragically, she loses her life in a freak accident and transforms into an overprotective cursed spirit that brings harm to anyone who threatens him. The movie revolves around Yuta as he grapples through challenges at the prestigious Jujutsu High, to seek control of Rika as a cursed spirit, and qualify himself as a ‘Jujutsu Sorcerer’.
