New Delhi: Marvel Studios is coming up with the fourth edition of Captain America and Julius Onah will be directing the movie. The film will feature Anthony Mackie in the role of Sam Wilson aka Falcon aka Captain America.
The story will continue after what happened in the Diney+Hotstar series ‘Captain America and the Winter Soldier’, where Sam Wilson along with Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier was seen fighting the Flag Smashers. It is uncertain whether Bucky, played by Sebastian Stan, be part of the upcoming edition of Captain America. However, Sam Wilson became Captain America when Steve Rogers handed him the iconic shield. In the web series, the identity of the Captain is also taken up by John Walker, played by Wyatt Russell.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Onah will join The Falcon and The Winter Soldier creator Malcolm Spellman and series staff writer Dalan Musson. Julius Onah, the Nigerian filmmaker, is known for directing Luce (2019).
Currently, Marvel has not announced the cast, release date or any other detail about the film. It is expected that Marvel Studios will be making an announcement regarding Captain America at the San Diego Comic-Con.
Fans are showing their excitement for the upcoming project on Twitter. People are also speculating and giving their opinions on the presence of Steve Rogers in Captain America 4.
