New Delhi: Kajol Devgan, the megastar and queen of the 90s, will return on the big screen once more, but this time she will undoubtedly feature on OTT. The Good Wife, a new show on Disney+ Hotstar, will feature Kajol in a key role. The programme is a remake of the most well-known American television programme, in which Julianna Margulies played the principal character.
Kajol posted a 30-second clip to Twitter in which she enters a courtroom with assurance and asks, “Shuru karein?” The show’s tagline reads, “Pyaar. Kanoon. Dhokha.” Kajol’s first OTT appearance. Tribhanga, a Netflix original film directed by Renuka Shahane and starring Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar, was Kajol’s prior role. Before, Kajol remarked, “I’ve always been a big admirer of digital shows, so the idea has always intrigued me. And I realised there was no other platform than Disney+ Hotstar to begin my series career after watching fantastic shows like Rudra and Aarya.”
