Amid this, several reports suggesting that the science fiction movie’ will soon hit the digital screens have emerged on the internet. Going by these reports, the Prabhas starrer movie is going to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on August 23rd, 2024 in multiple languages.
However, a formal confirmation regarding the movie’s digital debut is still pending to be made by the digital streaming platform.

Penned by Nag Ashwin, Sai Madhav Burra, Rutham Samar, and B. S. Sarawagna Kumar, Kalki 2898 AD unfolds in the post-apocalypse Kashi in the year 2898.
It sees Kamal Haasan as Yaskin, a tyrannical god-king who reigns terror in the entire Kashi & exploits all its natural resources to build himself a mega complex. Meanhwile, Yaskin also tries to kill Kalki, Sumathi’s (Deepika Padukone) unborn child believed to be the 10th & final avatar of Lord Vishnu.
However, Ashwatthama (Amitabh Bachchan), the worrier cursed with immortality by Lord Krishna in the concluding days of the Battle of Mahabharata, takes it upon himself to save Kalki’s mother from the evil clutches of Yaskin and make up for the mistakes he committed 6000 years ago in Kurukshetra War.
