Kanguva OTT Release Date: The final official digital debut date of Suriya and Bobby Deol’s mega-budget movie Kanguva is finally out.

Helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Siva, the fantasy action film, on December 8th, 2024, will land on Amazon Prime Video, which has already raked in the film’s OTT rights for a fancy price of Rs 100 crore. The same was also confirmed by the streamer in a recent announcement shared through Instagram on December 6th, 2024.

Earlier today, Amazon Prime Video took to its social media & treated Suriya’s fans by unavailing the OTT premiere date of the 49-year-old superstar’s latest film. Dropping a gripping poster from Kanguva on Instagram, the OTT streamer wrote, “A tale as old as time & a LEGACY that lives on
KANGUVA arrives to settle it all #KanguvaOnPrime, Dec 8.”

Keeping in mind that the Bobby Deol starter movie failed to click with the fans in theaters & ended its BO journey as a massive disaster, it will now be interesting to see how it performs on OTT in the days to come.

Cast and Production

Speaking of Kanguva’s cast, the fantasy actioner sees Suriya gracing the screen as the lead actor with  Bollywood veteran Bobby Deol pitted against him in the character of the movie’s ruthless antagonist.

In Addition to these two, the flick also features a set of other talented actors including K. S. Ravikumar, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, and Kovai Sarala essaying key roles. It is bankrolled by K. E. Gnanavel Raja, V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy, and Pramod Uppalapati under the banners of Studio Green and UV Creations.
