New Delhi: After leaving fans curious for a while, Yash Raj Films has finally announced song from its upcoming film ‘The Great Indian Family’. On Wednesday, makers released the first song from the film named ‘Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaja from its next family drama.
In the film, Vicky Kaushal has essayed the role of Bhajan Kumar who is a local singer. The dance number features Vicky Kaushal celebrating the greatness of Lord Krishna. Vicky was dressed in shiny outfits in his heartland avatar and grooved with a group of dancers. He also small ponytail which many religiously inclined people have. The term Twitter has been used in the song to point out the new generation and their love for social media. However, it is ironic that Twitter has been named X by Elon Musk.
The song was composed by Pritam and sung by Nakash Aziz, while Amitabh Bhattacharya gave the lyrics and Vijay Ganguly Choreographed the song. The song has received mixed reviews from fans as they dropped comments like” Mast video Song Hai Bhai”, “Bakaar Ganna”, “Vicky is looking amazing”, and “ghor Kalyug hai Bhai aise ganne banne lge Kanhaiya Twitter pe aaja.”

During a ‘Guessing game’ by the production house, Vicky talked about his character, he said i m playing the role of Bhajan Kumar who is a singing star in his film, The Great Indian Family. He said he wants to play some game before revealing his character. He further added, as an actor I love to bring smiles to the faces of people and I hope I was able to achieve it and people would like my new avatar.
The film is directed by Dhoom fameVijay Krishna Acharya. The Great Indian Family also features Manushi Chillar, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra and many others. It is going to release on September 22 in theatres.
