New Delhi: Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan will be making her first appearance in a digital project called Jaane Jaan, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film also features Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat in important roles. The story of the film is based on a well-known Japanese book called The Devotion of Suspect X. Earlier, Kareena had mentioned that her husband, Saif Ali Khan, jokingly advised her to improve her acting skills before working with Vijay and Jaideep, who are highly acclaimed actors.
Kareena Kapoor shares Saif Ali Khan’s advice to her
During a recent interview with The Indian Express, Kareena revealed that Saif has always encouraged her to take on challenging roles. She mentioned, “The best part is that he has always motivated me to push my own limits. Even after having our babies, he has always advised me to select scripts that demand my skills and showcase my talent and dedication. It’s really nice of him to support me in that way.”
Furthermore, Kareena also mentioned that she noticed a difference in training when working with Vijay and Jaideep. She revealed that her husband, Saif Ali Khan, suggested that she should be more focused while working with them. She said, “When I mentioned that I am working with Jaideep and Vijay, they have received different training and I feel that this new generation of actors on OTT platforms are giving tough competition to established stars in terms of their performances. I think Saif meant it in a positive way when he advised me to stay focused and alert while working with Jaideep and Vijay because they are incredibly talented. I think it was good advice, and he is also a fantastic actor.”
The actress also mentioned before that Saif advised her to change her attitude. Kareena shared that Saif warned her about working with the talented actors, Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat, who were known for their improvisation skills. He told her that she shouldn’t just rely on makeup and delivering dialogues on set, but needed to be ready for spontaneity.
She said, “Saif told me, ‘You can’t just sit in the van, put on makeup, and go on set to deliver dialogues! Please change this attitude. You are working with Jaideep and Vijay. Be prepared to be alert. They will be improvising. It won’t be easy.’ So he warned me. Therefore, like a student, I remained constantly attentive. Saif even said, ‘Stop being the backbencher. Come forward and do something.’ And I was like, Yeah, yeah!”
