Kareena Kapoor on talking to her sons about same sex marriage

During an interview with The Indian Express’ Express Adda, Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked how she would explain to her children about a same-sex marriage. Kareena promptly responded that she would tell her kids that the marriage is because they love each other, emphasizing that love has no boundaries based on gender, size, or appearance. She emphasized that they shouldn’t restrict their understanding of love to specific norms and that love knows no limitations.

She also mentioned, “It’s okay. Sometimes, Jack can love John and Trisha can love Prisha. That’s just how it is, and he needs to understand that love knows no boundaries.”

This is not the first time Kareena has expressed her thoughts on the LGBTQIA+ community. In a previous interview with Filmfare, she said, “We are all one. That’s the main idea. Why do people even say ‘this is different’? No. We’re all the same, we all have hearts, lungs, and livers. So why should we see them differently? That’s how I think and that’s how I’ll teach my boys to think too.”
