New Delhi: After garnering acclaim from fans with her portrayal in the Netflix series Aranyak, Raveena Tandon is making her way back up to the digital arena. In her upcoming appearance in the series Karmma Calling, which will be shown on Disney Plus and Hotstar, Raveena will play the part of Indrani Kothari, a wealthy and ultra-glam lady who hails from the Alibaug society.
After being influenced by Alexandre Dumas’ book The Count of Monte Cristo, which was published in 1844, the series is an adaptation of the American television series ‘Revenge.’
Earlier today, on December 15, the actress, in collaboration with Disney Plus Hotstar, posted a preview for the web series on her Instagram profile.
The post reads, “What goes around, comes around? Let Karma come calling, I will handle it.

Fans will leave wondering about the plot after seeing this brief teaser, which is intriguing and captivating. It is revealed in the video that Raveena will be portraying the part of Indrani Kothari, the queen of the Alibaug society. She is prepared to provide a warm welcome to anybody who wishes to enter her unabashedly lavish world of glitter and glamour, which is replete with lies and treachery.
In the teaser video, Raveena is seen sitting elegantly at a luxurious dinner table bathed in dazzling lighting as the event proceeds.
About the Series – Karmma Calling
ABC Signature, which is a division of Disney Television Studios, was responsible for producing the original American television series ‘Revenge’, which ran from 2011 to 2015. Karmma Calling is an adaption of that series.
Raveena Tandon referred to the part as one that she had never played before while she was discussing the series. She said that her character, Indrani Kothari, has the belief that the whole world is her stage. Aside from that, she went on to say that Karmma Calling is more than what is first apparent and investigates several aspects of the prosperous globe.

Raveena Tandon plays the main character in the series, which follows Ruchi Narain’s direction. Disney Plus Hotstar will host the launch of the series on January 26, 2024.
