New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan shared a still from his upcoming film ‘Shehzada’ on his Instagram handle. He also informed the revised release date for the film, which was supposed to release in November 2022, but will now release on 10 February 2023. The actor is set to reunite with his ‘Luka Chuppi’ co-star Kriti Sanon.
In the picture posted by the actor, he can be seen wearing an olive green shirt and running towards something. He has an intense look on his face in the photograph. “Shehzada Returns Home Feb 10th 2023,” the actor wrote in the caption. His co-star Kriti Sanon shared the post in her Instagram stories and asked her fans to mark the release date on their calendars.

The film is a remake of the Telugu film ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ which stars Allu Arjun, Pooja Hedge and Tabu. ‘Shehzada’ is directed by Rohit Dhawan, who has previously directed ‘Desi Boyz’ and ‘Dishoom’, while the dialogues are written by Hussain Dalal. The film stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala and Ronit Roy, along with Kartik and Kriti in the lead.
As the release date of the film has been shifted, it is bound to clash with Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. The dates have been shifted, reportedly, due to avoid a clash with Arjun Kapoor’s ‘Kuttey’, as both the films are produced under the banner of the T-Series.
Kartik Aaryan, who was previously seen in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, also has ‘Freddy’ and Hansal Mehta’s ‘Captain India’ in his list of upcoming films.
